Asking questions
You asked the following on Running web scripts in your Timezone:
- How does it depend on the version of PHP run for a website? On the server yoohoo.dreamhost.com both with 4.4.7 (PHP_SAPI = cgi) and 5.2.2 (PHP_SAPI = cgi-fcgi) the variable set in .htaccess doesn't get passed. Only putEnv('TZ=America/Argentina/Buenos_Aires') worked for me.
Please do not use the wiki as a forum for asking questions. Use the discussion forum for that. -- Scjessey 06:29, 10 July 2007 (PDT)
- Sorry, I had seen such drafts and hints how the topic should be expanded in other articles. I wanted to inspire someone who knows more to cover the subject better. I don't believe my question is a very odd case and I don't need an immediate response. Maybe just the discussion page is the right place to put it? Cezary Okupski 00:05, 17 July 2007 (PDT)
- Your question is still better posed in the the discussion forum, because you are more likely to get a response. Once you have received a response (or found your own solution), you will be able to come back and expand the article yourself. That's usually how it's done, anyway. -- Scjessey 07:27, 17 July 2007 (PDT)
