I really appreciate your contributions to the wiki, and we want everyone to feel welcome to participate, but I have rolled back your last edits to the Webmail page, for a couple of reasons. First, that page is exclusively for the use of the browser based interface to webmail. For this, all the discussion of ports and protocols is simply irrelevant. "Webmail" is a server based application running on a webserver that has all these built in- there is not even a way to change these things for the webmail application except at install time for the server administrator. All you need for Webmail is a browser. The items you are talking about are important for an email client program to know about to talk to a mailserver - and these things are discussed in general email setup pages on the wiki (but are not relevant at all to using Webmail in a browser). Secondly, incomplete data, or recommendations for additional content, do not belong on main article pages at all (but are appropriate for inclusion on article talk pages), Thanks! -- Rlparker 12:21, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
