I run a hiking related membership website. I'm currently moving it from html to MediaWiki for a variety of reasons: ease of updating the site, members will have the ability to contribute content and even create whole new sections, upload pictures, etc. The site will be much more dynamic, I just need to figure out how to move some of my html over to the wiki format.

• PayPal buttons was my first problem, but I found an extension written exactly for that.
• Then I wanted to move my mailing list Subscribe/Unsubscribe over. I had the html, but of course you can't just put that on the wiki page. I noticed that the form was similar to how the PayPal buttons function, so, I cut and pasted that original code from dreamhost for my mailing list into the PayPal extension and I almost fell over, it works perfect!
• I'm working on trying to get the Flash Image Rotator and Flash Media Player to work in the wiki now.
