Cleanup
The setup instructions for this article requires cleanup because there is no need to make shell users for e-mail accounts. Dhvrm 13:40, 15 May 2008 (PDT)
Deletion
This article is no longer relevant, as DreamHost no longer links user accounts and e-mail accounts in the way described. Dhvrm 09:25, 29 May 2008 (PDT)
- Shame, really. A lot of work has obviously gone into this article. If there are no objections in the next 24 hours, I'll delete it. -- Scjessey 09:34, 29 May 2008 (PDT)
- Actually, while DreamHost will no longer link *new* user accounts and email accounts in the way described, tens of thousands such accounts currently exist, and will continue in that manner unchanged for at least the foreseeable future. For this reason I think it would be better to annotate the article appropriately and to leave it available for those who can still use it. Of course, YMMV - Rlparker
- I see this as irrelevant. The procedure noted requires the recreation of existing e-mail linked shell accounts, which is not possible under the current panel. As such, existing users can't use this methodology, either. Dhvrm 21:36, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
