Code for short URL seems to have a problem with pages that have an escaped character in the title like "My & My". You can create a page called "My & My" but you cannot navigate to it. I recreated this problem on a newly installed MW 1.9.2 wiki at MyRailsWiki this wiki is a clean install with no content other than the two pages "My & My" and "Test & Test". Go to the front page or recent changes and attempt to navigate to them. Everything works properly when the shortURL code is removed. John Stanton 13:12, 14 Feb 2007 (PST)

I noticed this same problem on my wiki a few weeks back. The only solution was to take off the shortening code and delete the page in question (it was just a redirect), then put the code back on. --Emufarmers 13:44, 14 Feb 2007 (PST)
