Since spf.dremahosters.net seems to no longer have TXT records and DH seems to now be willing to provide IPs, I have posted the (seemingly) correct SPF record on the main wiki page. I have removed the point regarding gmail since I do not have any idea how to generate SPFv1 records myself and am completely clueless as to how to add the include:gmail.com part properly. If you do know what you're doing, please add this back to the main wiki page.
Back in June, per my request as well I'm sure others, DH added the record assigned to SPF by the IANA. However, I have been unable to find it in the panel. I have requested help from DH and when I have that information I will add this information to the article as well.
As per the future of this article, It should be updated to include SPFv2 as well as the correct record.

Generating SPF records
You can learn about SPF records and run a "wizard" that will help create SPF records on openspf.org.

What SPF record to use
It doesn't seem like the best plan to use raw IP addresses in the SPF record. However, I am not the SPF guru, so I won't update the main page. The SPF record that I am currently using for my domains is:
"v=spf1 mx include:dreamhost.com ~all"
Unfortunately, I don't actually have a way to test this to make sure this record is actually protecting me. You can see if the SPF record is there (but not necessarily correct) as well as detecting other issues by using the tools at www.dnsstuff.com.

DreamHost
Here's what I don't get, however, even given all of the above. Why doesn't DreamHost help us generate the correct SPF records? It seems like DH should automatically be adding the proper SPF records to all domains with the other auto-generated DNS records. Is there some reason someone would *not* want a correct SPF record on their domain?
