Why can't this page be edited? I see a typo, but I can't fix it! Kind of defeats the purpose of having a wiki... (Typo is "its" should be "it's")
- I fixed that. For some reason, DH employees like to protect pages after they have created them. This may (in part) be to protect them from spammers, but mostly I think it is unjustified. I can remove protection upon request. -- Scjessey 07:34, 14 Jul 2006 (PDT)
It would be kind to adjust the comment at the bottom, and move it up some. It is not 'a while' for the installs to propagate across the system. We're talking about 1/2 to 1 hour on mysql installs ... when the info email usually arrives right away. People who don't know about the delay are going to worry and think they made a mistake. Anyway, the more people who know about it, the less likely Dreamhost has to wade through support questions due to the topic. Noirdame 14:46, 22 Aug 2006 (PDT)

Upgrading to One-Click Installs
Is it possible to 'upgrade' to a one-click install? I already have WordPress installed, and it is the current version (as of now 2.1). What are the steps I should follow to have it set up as a one-click install? Should I just have it install on top of my current installation with the same configuration? I'm asking the wiki first in case anyone has been through the same process. If not, I'll ask DH support, and I'll report what I find out here. --rolandog 08:35, 25 Jan 2007 (PST)
The activeCollab icon is wrong?
The product icon for activeCollab reads "autoCollab". Shouldn't this be fixed? I'd fix it but this page isn't editable.
What happened to activCollab?
It's no longer on the one click install menu, should it therefore be removed from this page?
- There has been a lot going on in the activCollab community lately, most notably a change in the licensing model. There is more information available on the activeCollab website. Looking at the "One-click" install goodies, it appears that activeCollab is no longer there (as you noted), but I see that dotProject has been added (a replacement for activeCollab?). Since activeCollab is no longer available as a "one-click", I agree that it should no longer be on this page (and I have removed it.) -- Rlparker 21:29, 3 October 2007 (PDT)

Pligg was recently announced, I guess the others are new, too.

Easy installs include which extensions?
What extensions are included with the Easy Version of One Click installs?
I actually only care about the Mediawiki Easy One-Click, but I'm sure it'd be helpful to know which extensions are included with the various Easy One-Clicks..

Mixing Easy mode and Advanced mode
This page probably needs to point out the difference between the two. AFAIK one will not be able to setup a single hostname for an Easy mode one-click and proceed to add an Advanced mode one-click on the same hostname. I am hoping a sysadmin can confirm this and the page be updated. Here is my suggestion for copy to add:
Easy mode One-click The web application you choose is installed on a separate web server maintained entirely by DreamHost! We handle all the software management and upgrades for you. They don't count against your disk space since we will not be installing the files in any of your user directories! However as a result you will not be able to modify the application such as applying patches, adding themes or installing plugins. Also you will not be able host an advanced mode one-click on the same domain or subdomain since the hostname will point to our one-click web server.
