Do we have to keep the certificate after installation, or can it be deleted? AdamR 06:57, 23 June 2007 (PDT)
Adam, you have to leave the Certificate there. You'll see it among the acceted "Certification Authorities", since the certificate here is not a server certificate but a "certification authority", meaning that your software (either explorer, outlook express, thunderbird, firefox or safari), will accept server certificates which are signed by this certification authority (NDN-CA).
If you trust that NDN (a.k.a. DreamHost) won't issue fake certificates (which, at least I do) for web and mail servers, then you're pretty safe leaving the NDN-CA certificate in your browser/mailer.

I think perhaps the question was whether or not the actual file that was downloaded could be deleted after "installing" or "importing" it... YES it can!
As for my recent revisions to the article, hope I didn't miss anything. If I did, my apologies, but hopefully I furthered it a little.. :) -- —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Phantazm (talk • contribs) .
Internet Security Warning revert
Scjessey, why did you revert my update to the Internet Security Warning section? The instructions you put back have poor grammar and didn't work for me. The instructions that I wrote do work. And why did you reverted the Category change? This article is definitely about Email Configuration. And the bit about "The certificate's CN name" is absolutely essential. It took me a LONG time to find this article because the string in the image wasn't quoted; so I quoted it. --Gadlen 20:16, 28 February 2008 (PST)
