What's the point of this page? Shouldn't these things all be on their own pages?

Scjessey: I totally agree. "Misc" is a cop-out designation.

We should talk about mysql and the quirks on dreamhost, like how you can't have a database with the same name as it's user.

Use the MySQL section for that :)

Will: Fixed the jabber stuff. You can no longer connect using just conference as the hostname. Although this setting was default in Sarge it has since been changed (because it meant only users on localhost could connect).

Also deleted the bit about woody and sarge having different settings since they now don't.

It has to be mode 444 even though containing passwords because <why please?>

Inside it we find

which obviously are a big security breach. <WHY PLEASE?>

  Are you asking about the SAConfig.php file? If so, that file is no
longer used by our system, and is outdated. We no longer install that in
any way, so it's safe to remove. 
 It was part of our solid components message board system, however isn't
something we use anymore in any way.
 If you need anything else, please let us know.

  Ah, ok, I found the parameter that was re-adding those. I've removed
them for you, so you shouldn't see that anymore. If you do, please let us know.
