Is this supported? It appears that osCommerce one-click install is no longer supported by dream host. Am I missing something? Kenheut 11:15, 6 Feb 2007 (PST)

OK, assuming it's not available through one-click, I tried installing the oscommerce package, but it doesn't work out of the box on dream host. Dream Host disables register_globals and register_long_arrays in PHP (with good reason). This can be overcome by applying the patches described at http://forums.oscommerce.com/lofiversion/index.php/t205137.html and http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,4439/category,5/search,register_. You also need to install a 'patch of a patch' as described on the first link.

P.S. If OS Commerce is indeed no longer supported, there needs to be a step-by-step installation page because OScommerce is still the most widely used cart. Kenheut 14:29, 6 Feb 2007 (PST)
