Name calling is neither constructive nor professional. Perhaps that last bit should be removed? -- kchrist 17:26, 19 Aug 2005 (PDT)

Agreed. Removed. I still have an AOL account, which I find to be a convenient spam trap (because AOL are very good at getting rid of it) -- Scjessey 20:11, 19 Aug 2005 (PDT)

AOL is a strange bird. They're a bit confused sometimes in their efforts ... they're twenty-four eggs short of a dozen. https://panel.dreamhost.com/kbase/index.cgi?area=2885

Just think how sucky it would be if email worked the way IM does today! If you had an AOL email address, ... DreamHost rocks, VeriSign sucks. https://panel.dreamhost.com/kbase/index.cgi?area=2677

AOL Keywords (the "AOL" is for America's Only-ISP Left...) https://panel.dreamhost.com/kbase/index.cgi?area=2263 --Pseudorandom 10:17, 10 Sep 2005 (PDT)

Rude Comments

I've removed Psuedorandom's rude comments again. Let's play nice, people. -- Scjessey 10:41, 10 Sep 2005 (PDT)

Burden on Control Freaks

The change was DTobias' to start with. His change was a valid addition, not unlike quoted statements from Dreamhost site given above. Just because you disagree with the style is no reason to delete. --Pseudorandom 11:26, 10 Sep 2005 (PDT)

"Just because you disagree with the style" It is not "stylish" to be rude. The article is intended to assist, not ridicule those who may forward email to AOL. AOL's email system continues to be used by millions of people, so the information is very important. -- Scjessey 15:18, 10 Sep 2005 (PDT)

" the information is very important." You are the one deleting information. Alternative opinions, such as examples on official DreamHost pages given above, are also important. --Pseudorandom 21:52, 10 Sep 2005 (PDT)

Look. The article is about forwarding email to AOL. It is going to read by AOL users specifically; therefore, rude comments aimed at AOL users are inappropriate. The paragraph you keep replacing adds no value to the article. -- Scjessey 14:10, 11 Sep 2005 (PDT)

Okay everyone, take a chill pill

Look, sure, there are lots of people who don't like AOL, but Simon's right, there's no reason to sound like a child about it.

We appreciate everybody who posts on the wiki, but there's just no reason to get all nasty. Please stop saying lame things about AOL on a page meant to help AOL users. --Nate 14:01, 19 Sep 2005 (PDT)
