The status area of the DreamHost Control Panel features five sections:
System Status
Dreamhost has decided to decommission the system status page until they are able to make it more accurately reflect actual system uptimes. In the meantime, if you can't access your site, there's always the announcements area and even blog.dreamhost.com. If those are down, visit the off-site emergency status page at status.dreamhost.com.
Statistics
The Statistics section provides an area where statistics can be viewed and customized. Users can be given access by an option on this section.
The stats package chosen by Dreamhost is Analog.
Bandwidth
The Bandwidth section provides daily bandwidth usage for all domains, subdomains, and users, as well as for the complete plan. The panel provides a toggle to enable or disable bandwidth throttling if needed.
BANDWIDTH THROTTLING: THIS FEATURE IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE
As we've significantly increased the amount of monthly transfer bandwidth that all hosting plans provide this feature was considered obsolete and rarely used. Therefore it was removed from the control panel. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Disk Usage
The Disk Usage section affords a complete breakdown of disk usage:
- By user
- By mailbox
- By database
- By discussion list
- By main plan
MySQL Usage
The MySQL usage section details by MySQL usage by database and by plan. It also provides information about which server a database is being served from. The data is given by disk usage, and by a metric known as conueries, which is the number of MySQL queries in a month, plus 25 times the number of connections.
