Use this area to specify dedicated IP addresses for a given domain. Dedicated means that you alone get to use that particular IP address, improving compatibility with legacy browsers.

How do I create a unique IP address for my domain?

It's very easy to add a unique IP to your DreamHost account. Unique IPs are just $3.95/month.

  1. Go to Domains::Manage Domains area of our web panel
  2. Click on Add IP for your domain
  3. On next page click on Add a unique IP button and you are done.


How do I delete the unique IP address for my domain?

  1. Go to Domains::Manage Domains area of our web panel and click on the add IP link.
  2. Click on the edit' link.
  3. Click on the word "unassociate"
  4. Click on the remove link.
  5. Watch your IP spread its wings and take flight. Watch it fade off into the distance, disappearing against a deep orange sunset beyond the haze-covered mountains. Somewhere a baby cries.
