If you have registered or host a domain with DreamHost and would like to host it with your current .Mac/iWeb 08 account, you can do so using the following steps:
Changes in your .Mac/iWeb Account
Make sure that your .Mac/iWeb account is setup to use your personal domain. To do this, go to your account page and then click ‘Use personal domain’. Enter your domain name into the form and you're all set.
Changes in your DreamHost Account
To make the necessary DNS changes to host your domain with .Mac/iWeb 08, you'll need to first remove the web hosting service from your domain. This can be done by clicking the 'delete' button that appears next to your domain under the 'Web Hosting' column in the Manage Domains section of the control panel.
After you've removed the web hosting service, just visit that same page again and click the 'DNS' link that appears under your domain. On that custom DNS page, enter in www in the Name: field. Change the Type to CNAME and enter in web.mac.com into the Value: field. Click the Add Record Now! button to add the custom record. You'll be good to go after DNS propagation.
