To backup your website manually you will need to connect to your site via FTP or SFTP (if you would like to transfer your files securely) to the account your website is under. If you need to know your login information please Contact Support

You will want to use any FTP program like Smart FTP, CuteFTP, CoreFTP, Flash FXP, or Fetch (Apple). We will be using the free version of CoreFTP, so if you would like to follow along you can download Core FTP here for free. Once you have downloaded it and installed it, go ahead and open it.

Don't forget if you are using software such as Wordpress or Gallery you will also have to backup your databases - see Backup_MySQL
